To foster and promote wellness and to provide compassionate, skilled health care to our patients in their homes and to the communities we serve in accordance with the highest professional and ethical standards.

The best protection against seasonal flu is the flu vaccine.  If you missed all of our 2016 September & October flu clinics, please contact your doctor to find out where you can get a flu vaccine today.  Other steps you can take in your daily life to protect you from getting the flu are to wash your hands often with soap & water or an alcohol-based hand rub, avoid touching your eyes, nose & mouth, avoid close contact with sick people, practice good health habits (plenty of sleep & exercise, manage stress, drink plenty of fluids & eat healthy food), cover your nose & mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, throw tissue in trash after you use it & stay home if you are sick with flu-like illness & for at least 24 hours after your fever is gone without the use of fever-reducing medicine.  Contact your doctor if you become ill with flu-like symptoms & take antiviral medications if prescribed.

If you are interested in hosting a flu clinic at your work site in 2017, please contact us at (203) 792-0864, or info@bethelvna.org with your inquiry.
